1. Treat O/others with RESPECT and kindness ALWAYS This should be the ONLY rule necessary, but since some people need to have things spelled out.... Please continue...

2. Ask in the Garden for permission BEFORE sending private messages ALWAYS
   Private messaging or DCC Chatting requires prior consent of the other party, Dom OR sub. The ONLY exceptions to this rule are Garden @OPs, who may be messaged at any time with channel concerns, or may message YOU at any time to enforce channel policies. Any channel member who is receiving unwanted private messages should first try to handle the situation themselves using the /ignore feature. If you are unable to handle the problem alone, bring it to the attention of an @OP via private message. Repeat offenders of this policy will find themselves banned from the room entirely.

3. Obnoxious, Abusive or Childish behavior is not acceptable EVER

4. "Guest" or "Perv" nicks are not acceptable. When visiting a home, proper introductions are expected.

5. Keep negativity out of the Garden - If there is a problem or a concern with someone or something, bring it to the attention of an @OP in PRIVATE. The @OPs are there to help you, so please don't hesitate to bring your concern to one of them. We DO ask that you do it in private so others may continue to enjoy the Garden.
   
   Personal problems are just that, personal... we will not tolerate infighting among Garden members in the open Garden. Take it private, or take it outside. If you are causing a disturbance in the Garden, we will not hesitate to kick you. We will also not involve the Garden in personal vendettas, if you are having a quarrel with another Garden member do not expect the Garden to intervene unless Garden rules are broken.

The Garden is a place for new beginnings.
The past is the past... leave it there!

6. Our Garden is focused on BDSM, not of the Gorean Style. Gorean guests are welcome to come in and observe/participate as long as they can do it in our style - that means that if a Gorean slave comes in she is to address the DOM's as "Sir" not "Master". The subs/slaves in our Garden have worked hard for the right to address a single Dom/me as Master/Mistress and it's not a title we want to have used loosely. If a Gorean DOM comes in, He will need to understand that He cannot demand the submissives in the room call Him "Master".

7. No scening is allowed in the Garden proper.  Please feel free to enjoy these pleasures in private.

8. The Garden has an OFFICIAL Radio station and ONLY DJ's from that station are allowed to add the DJ initials to their nick when in the Garden. Other DJs are welcome as long as they DO NOT use "DJ" as part of their nick or PROMOTE in any way, shape or form (including quit messages) any station other then the OFFICIAL Garden Radio station. Repeatedly posting music (songs) in the Garden area that are not being played on the OFFICIAL radio station, or talking about songs you are playing locally is considered DISRESPECTFUL and RUDE and will not be tolerated.

9. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed EVER. The Garden is for patrons over 18 (eighteen) years of age only, OR the required legal age in your country/state of residence. If you are considered a minor, then please EXIT NOW! You are more than welcome to return when you are the legal age.

10. The founder has a very low threshold for drama. Drama of any kind will not be tolerated and will be cause for banishment without notice. The Garden is a peaceful place for friends and family to visit and share good times. Our OPs work hard to keep it that way, to make it a comfortable and fun place to come home to.

Failure to observe the rules will result in being kicked and/or banned from this channel.
