Dom/mes (Dominant's) will be recognized in the community by using a CAPITAL letter in front of their nick. Example: Countess, Baron.  This is respectful and a courtesy.

submissives/slaves will be recognized by using a lower case letter depicting their nick. Example: misstee, carla.  Those entering the Garden will be given voice (+) allowing them to chat and take part in all of the Garden's activities.

Collared submissives/slaves are submissives/slaves that are OWNED by a Dominant and are usually recognized by wearing that Dominant's collar attached to their nick in some form. Example: sweetslave{Scorpion}
Although this is most always the case, out of courtesy to both sub/slave and their Owner, they should be asked if they are owned before engaging their service.  Checking visitors "whois" is also helpful.

Switches will be recognized by a nick containing an uppercase somewhere within the nick. Example: SuZie, DaVon.
